It’s been two months since we started to fall in love every afternoon because of your comic yet romantic love story. Lorenzo and Dianne entered in our hearts and filled our miseries with consequential kilig that we can’t resist! But they showed us the different things we do for love and what love could do to us!

1. Love is unexpected.
Lorenzo’s plan was to avenge for being abandoned by Don Roman. He even fell in love with Dulce in the process. Meanwhile, Dianne has her heart only for her Rockstar Boss. Tormented from death, she wasn’t ready to be in any kind of serious relationship. They were different in so many ways but they were also too fearless and don’t give up in their petty fights. They literally hate each other. But a twist of fate changes their lives and sooner realizes they were made in for loving each other.

This happens to most of us all the time. We don’t choose who we fall for in this world. But when that moment comes and the universe conspires for the two of you, there’s no turning back even you try to ignore each other. As the song goes, “Love moves in mysterious ways,” You can never tell who, when, where or how but what matters is that moment finally came and no more holding back. We barely notice that the feelings are getting stronger and finally, you might end up asking, “Where have you been all my life?”

2. Love is a risk.
Like any poker game, you gamble everything for love. Lorenzo did have moments when he hold back especially when he considered his social status, he never wanted to confirm his feelings for Dianne. On the other hand, Ms. Liwanag knew that the more chances she give to Lorenzo, the more she might get hurt. But as for now, she gave this a chance. She wanna take a bet for Lorenzo and maybe just maybe, they’ll both win this time.

There are a lot of complications in loving someone who is totally different from the world you grew up for years. But love just gives you the fighting spirit to take a bet, try even just for once, and realize that person is quite a shot. We all want say,”Bahala na si Batman” because of the fear of the unknown. Deep inside we have a lot of things going inside our head, the what ifs, the maybe and the impossible, but this only means that we just badly want to be with someone we loved the most despite not being chosen in the end.

3.Love brings out the best in you.

Lorenzo and Dianne have their series of unfortunate events back then. They were victims of this tragic life that made them both stronger, the kind of persons who won’t give up easily. This is the reason why they repel every time they were together. They haven’t seen the good side of each other and kept that negative attitude for a while. But when things change, Lorenzo tried to show his soft side and how protective he could be with Dianne. He didn’t change rather he had a reason to be the kind of man he should be to earn Dianne’s trust and hopefully, love as well. Everyone saw Dianne’s bubbly personality and kindness to the Cardinal family and she’s now extending this version of herself with Lorenzo. They clearly wanted to give this a chance, slowly but surely.

Growing up from this judgmental world, we choose to hide ourselves and keep distant to those kinds of people who won’t understand our real feelings, emotions and beliefs. But when you meet the right person, there are no walls; no pretending and you feel so good about yourself. When love comes, we become transparent and not afraid to show the world who we love and how we love them.

4. Love is painful.
Nobody said it was easy, Nobody said it will be this hard. The Scientist song sums it all! Dianne had to carry the burden almost every day. She never wanted this to happen but her heart could no longer deny the feelings she have for Lorenzo. It was a battle between herself and her heart. On the other hand, Lorenzo did struggle since he wasn’t ready for it after his disputable treatment to Dianne before things got complicated. Not even in his sweetest dreams will he ever consider Dianne as his one great love but it did happen and his world is wrecked for all the guilt and feeling sorry for Dianne.

Love is when you experience how painful it could be and choose to stay. No matter how hard you try to escape, forget and forgive, you will still be in love with the same person. You could weep, curse but at the end of the day, that pain will fade away if your heart still remains beating for your one and only. But if you both overcome it, you are both winning against all odds! And that’s love.

5. Love is real.
Lorenzo and Dianne felt it once but not the same as it is now. It was unexpected, risky painful, life changing therefore it is real. Imagine, it took only a night and yet they will thank it for the rest of their lives. It is a miracle, once in a blue moon but still happened. Being happy, having sacrifices and fighting for it prove to us how real it is to fall in love with the right person even at the wrong time.

You’ve been seeing it every day, and praying it will happen to you someday. And when that day comes, you will realize how real it could be more than the stories you’ve heard, lovers you’ve witnessed and heart breakers you’ve encountered. So thank it, keep it and always treasure it. Love is real and could happen to anyone!

Unlikely, Ms. Liwanag’s phone got broken! Her efforts of saving it won’t matter because it’s fully dead. Of course, Mr. Cardinal is to the rescue by giving an umbrella for the damsel in distress. Just like what they say in Kdrama, Never bring an umbrella and a man will offer for yah.

Love the fighting spirit of Lorenzo! That’s love so you should never give up! Meanwhile, Dianne used the umbrella though. Rain rain come and stay, so little Dianne and Lorenzo will fall in love in any other way. Ms. Liwanag’s glimpses saying, “Rain rain,please let my Lorenzo stay!”

For better communication, Lorenzo took the chance of giving his first special gift to Dianne. Damn, these two got the sexual tension that we always demand in a PHR! And as expected, Ms. Liwanag refuse to accept it. Oh well, what’s new with Dianne’s goal of avoiding him always but she should know Lorenzo is a persistent man.

Paano kung ang hindi mo gusto ay magustuhan mo?

God, how can Lorenzo be so hot with those eyes and while saying those lines? Guess, he isn’t really a quitter and Dianne is a bit challenged! Her looks is saying no but so as Lorenzo. If it really means nothing for you Dianne, can’t you just accept it as a company phone?

After today’s episode, I realize that most of us are like Dianne and Lorenzo. We did our best but wasn’t enough and we find ourselves guilty of the things we couldn’t accept despite knowing it isn’t our fault. Crying isn’t for the weak. Saying sorry doesn’t always mean it’s all on you. Remember that everything happens for a reason.

Lorenzo, how can you be so dumb? Dianne hates you for what you did to her. Being in love with the least expected person and most hated guy isn’t as easy as it seems even you are the almost perfect guy. Sometimes, friendships are stronger bonds than romantic relationships. A girl who befriends a boy doesn’t mean there should be something intimate between them. Being the best pals is such a blessing. Having someone who won’t hurt you, who would protect you at all cost and who will never leave you at bad times is something worth saving than being a relationship then break in the end.

Lorenzo apologize for their pep fights but the truth is he is making a move to tell Connor how he fell in love with Dianne. He is so scared as if Connor is the one guarding Dianne’s heart. But, its kind-a true. All this time that Lorenzo hurt Dianne, Connor was always there for her. He had the biggest change among Don Roman’s sons. Lorenzo, you are just not used of having a hard time in dealing with a woman. Whiners are wieners Sir! As expected, he is so shocked because Connor knew it all along. This is the first time they had a real serious conversation about Dianne. Lorenzo might be smarter than Connor but when it comes to love, Connor knows best. At last, Lorenzo admitted his real intentions with Dianne. Connor acted as if he is more of a brother to Dianne. A friend like him deserves a tribute. Love is given in different ways,and his love for Dianne is one of a kind.

Connor punches Lorenzo! After all the insults, from malandi to ang bababoy nyo, it’s enough. The best part is that he supports Lorenzo all the way. He made sure that it will be worse if Lorenzo hurt Dianne again. A drink to the man of the house!

Guess who is starting to care about his employees! Dianne, don’t be so harsh on Lorenzo. Her words is like an ending statement to what is going on between them. But Lorenzo’s reaction was epic. Aftershocks. These happen after massive earthquakes. As we all know, earthquakes unlike other catastrophic disasters are hard to predict, like the “BIG ONE”, we ain’t see it coming. But the worst part, after it strikes us, we will never know if there be another or if it will be a greater one. Even we survive it, we still no longer feel safe unless it took a long time without earthquakes. That’s why we should always know the drill. But what if your “BIG ONE” isn’t an earthquake but the love you never expected? Will you stop, drop and hold?

Dianne is stopping by at the same spot where Lorenzo declared his love her. She’s having aftershocks, unexplained thoughts about what happened. She needs to pause for a while for she still can’t believe it really did. No matter how hard she try to forget it, her heart can’t stop beating for Lorenzo. She is just afraid to get hurt the way she got one from drinking coffee and from being associated with her boss. Everyone who loved and got hurt will always act this way. They will pretend and think it’s just another disaster. But, sometimes love is a beautiful disaster, perfectly imperfect most importantly, so real.

After Dianne exits, Lorenzo’s on their favorite staircase scene. Lorenzo Cardinal, that’s what you get when you let your heart break. Technically, he broke Dianne’s heart but he never realizes that every time Dianne gets hurt, it is twice harder in him. Darling, love isn’t enough reason to win someone. Just like earthquakes, Lorenzo has faults to fix this time. Dianne doesn’t want to because he acts like there’s nothing worth putting their worlds together again after this love hit them. And yes, Lorenzo, love can make you the dumbest earthling. Falling in love might make you crazy but letting go of someone you love is stupidity. Man up or you’ll have another mischance with her.

Is this a line refers to him who didn’t see her today or never saw her despite being with her at the Cardinal Distillery for a long time? Lorenzo’s apologies sounded as excuses. Meanwhile, Dianne has been hiding herself and her feelings too. They act so paranoid at doing their best at playing the pretending roles of not being interested to the other. They always look shock, can’t stand on their ground as if their whole world is shaking every time they meet especially in awkward moments like this.

Funny, Dianne got Lorenzo’s coffee! They had an indirect kiss!Too much caffeine is bad for the health and heart Ms. Liwanag. But Lorenzo, it’s not about the coffee but it’s you. When you are near to someone who raises your love intensity to the highest level, you can’t stand still and you want to avoid the huge wave of complications that awaits. Caution first before another mistake.

Lorenzo and Dianne finally drop the bomb with Isay and Gani. But, the biggest bomb is that they knew it all along. Isay got a point, Was Dianne shock because she doesn’t want it or because she loved it? We are all guilty of this. We make ourselves believe that what we love isn’t what we deserve even deep inside, that’s what we liked after all. People are confused because they can’t change what they can’t accept and accept what they can’t change.

Dianne is like every other Filipina nsbsb. Full of love yet sees no one who deserves it, not even Lorenzo. Her reactions are all reasonable. She never felt Lorenzo’s care and love for her even before it happened. They were always clashing because Lorenzo thinks highly of himself. Ms. Liwanag’s life becomes doomed when Lorenzo came. At first, it was an ordinary misunderstanding but after that night, they caught feelings bad. It’s like a disease. And the antidote depends on whether they want a dose of love and happiness or a prescription of forgetting and losing each other permanently for the rest of their lives. Oh please, choose wisely.

Fresh from the Gani-Isay’s residences, Dianne came to the office seeing Mr. Cardinal asleep like a baby cocoon. At first, she wanted to make fun of him but as she approaches into his angelic face which is ironic from his demon attitude, she remembers the moments they had either fighting or getting along. Dianne’s world stop and she saw flashbacks of her and Lorenzo as if they have been together for a long time.

She saw something beyond what she was looking at. Because this time, love hit her hard and all she is thinking of is him, the picture of a me and you. Dianne hesitated and can’t believe how she “imprinted” on Lorenzo. Despite her doubts, she still manage to show a bit care to him by giving her own coat.

Ms. Liwanag can no longer deny the fact that she wants him too. Even she knows this man will hurt him, she can’t control her heart and mind when both of them are into him. Dianne is like any other girls who felt love for the first time. The confusion made her more realize that she in deep trouble for liking someone she used to hate.

Lorenzo wide awake after realizing he slept in his office. But the mystery of all is seeing Dianne’s coat unto him. This makes him more confused than he ever her was after he shared a night with Dianne. His world is falling not apart but for Dianne only. Something inside his heart keeps on pleading how much he really likes her. He doesn’t know what to say or think. He doesn’t even know why the hell is he in love with her. He almost had a single teardrop, for the overflowing joy, happiness and guilt with all that happened. He is scared because he badly wants her. He is like a bomb about to explode but still needs a little piece of match to finally give in.

Mr Cardinal, that is how love works. You need no long list of reasons to love someone. It is enough to admit you love her and that means more than you ever want to say to her. Love makes you speechless. Love changes you to someone you’ve never expect. Love will make you do things you have never done before. The search is over Lorenzo and you are not so over with Dianne.

Liwanag na liwanag. She is not Ms. Liwanag for no reason. And this is because she got the bright mind in being so optimistic in life and love. Dianne was right. Truth is, people thought when they find their partner, they could change them but it doesn’t always end up that way. Some things are not meant to be change rather embracing everything about the person you loved the most.

We are in the climax of this whirlwind romance of Dianne and Lorenzo. Dianne is obviously comforting Connor after longing for Lupita. And the man on his usual CEO dress code arrives, looking fiercely at the two hugging, and accused them of bullshit words.As much as Lorenzo wants to be mad at them, he looks so damn funny for this is what he gets for keeping his feelings from Dianne and choosing his pride over her. We should realize that this is what happens when we don’t resolve things in simple conversations. Both Dianne and Lorenzo have their own faults on this. Their personalities are so alike that they repel sometimes. They always want to play a game they are both not good at it. Because love isn’t meant to be played but to be taken seriously.

The moment of truth. The scene that all the fans have been waiting for has finally happened! Dianne confronted Lorenzo and this man could no longer keep it. The intensity of their argument is what they both needed to confess their feelings they’ve been ignoring since that night. We all felt the honesty, sincerity, even the fear from Lorenzo’s voice. He really risks it all for Dianne to know that whatever they had is something affecting him. Lorenzo is now becoming the better man ready to fight for Dianne. And as for Ms. Liwanag, an applause for asking what really bothers you from a man who might have love or hurt you again. Dianne is pouring out her honesty that this whole thing doesn’t make sense. But, for sure, now that Lorenzo made his proclamation of love, everything is crystal clear.

Dahil Mahal Kita. That’s it. That’s the only reason why Lorenzo and Dianne keeps on getting back to each other. It is the love that bonds them and even the universe conspires to take them to person where they truly belongs.

Some words are still better said and done. When you love someone, you have to show it. And you have to shout it out loud. Sometimes people so high in love can’t easily believe that they’re in love that’s why you have to say it. Say it even it hurts. Say it even the world laughs at you. Say it even he might not say it back. Say it as if the whole world depends on it.

She will do what it takes so he won’t get there, to that spot where his arguments will make this worse.

At the very last second, Lorenzo can’t say it. He is still hiding under his stupid pride, foolish reasons of caring and protecting. His words are still holding him back but his emotions were ready for this moment. And then, finally, he said those words with pure honesty. His voice shaking, panting as if he sprinted quarter miles away from his doubts to reality. Lorenzo said it not once, not twice but three times! “Mahal Kita” Two words for his one and only. But these words need so many explanations. Dianne is in the right position to question his feelings. All this time, Lorenzo treated her like a doormat. He even tried to accuse Dianne that she liked what happened as if it was something ordinary for her. But, Lorenzo felt that Dianne surrendered her all for him. He felt how special it was for the both of them.

The more they reveal themselves, the more it gets harder and harder. Lorenzo’s past girlfriends must be applauding by now because karma is at its finest. Out of all women he slept with, Dianne made a difference. She isnt afraid to tell Lorenzo how fucked up he is when it comes to women. She gave herself not because she was just drunk but she wanted him. That night, she forgot who she was and decided to be someone he needed. Dianne always insisted that it was the biggest mistake of her life and she learned from it. This is what happens when we try to do something for the first time and failed. We are so scared to give another shot. Dianne like all of us is just saving herself for another massive heartbreak.

Easier said than done. Lorenzo Cardinal, swearing after hurting her won’t make a huge deal out of it. A woman like Dianne will never give in easily or else she won’t be worth it.On the other hand, Dianne loses her temp and emphasize the fact that it was nothing to her. It was a mistake not meant to happen. She just want to wake up from this nightmare. But Dianne said these for so many reasons. Was it wrong because she saved herself to someone special? Was it wrong because Lorenzo was mean to her? Or was it wrong because she fell in love with Lorenzo despite not liking him?

Wala lang ba sayo yun? Wala lang sayo yung nangyari sa’tin. Dianne for me, for me WHAT HAPPENED TO US WAS SPECIAL.

Paano naging special yun. Ginagawa mo din sa ibang babae yung bagay na yun ha! Hindi ako tulad ng iba sini-save ko yung sarili ko para sa lalaking pakakasalan ko mamahalin ko buong buhay ko hindi tulad mo, hindi tulad mo hindi tulad mo na parang laruan lang sayo ang lahat.

How can Lorenzo be so shallow and pretend Dianne was the one who acted like it never happened? He was the first one who showed underappreciated feelings towards Dianne. He even made her life more miserable. Meanwhile, Dianne is like any other girl who lived with a dream of marrying someone who will loved her for a lifetime. If only he quit playing games with her heart after that kiss, then maybe, she saw a little potential to make this work.

Dianne I’M SORRY! I’m sorry kung nangyari yung hindi dapat mangyari. Pero nangyari na wala na tayong magagawa CAN WE GIVE IT A CHANCE, just ONE CHANCE.

If all lovers will be as irrational as Lorenzo, no one will ever want to fall in love again. Asking for a chance after saying sorry after declaring your love won’t resolve their feelings for each other. But seeing him begging as if his world depends on this is a lot heartbreaking. But he still needs to figure if he is asking for a chance because he likes everything about Dianne or he is just guilty for what happened? Lorenzo should have been wiser here and didn’t rush things between them. He was asking for too much when he did the least efforts to make her happy.

Hindi porke’t may nangyari sa atin gusto na kita, mamahalin kita hindi ganun kadali yun. Hiiiindi! I’m sorry Sir, hindi ikaw yung tipo ng lalaki na mamahalin ko “HINDI AKO NANINIWALA NA MAHAL MO AKO”

Everyone could relate on to this. Sex, dating and flirting doesn’t always mean it is love. In this generation, people had invented so many stages, labels that make relationships more complicated. The worst part is sometimes they do it for nothing. Dianne had made her point that Lorenzo isn’t the one for her. Lorenzo isn’t worth loving. But Lorenzo should get something in her words! Dianne doesn’t believe him so that means he should do something in order for her to change her mind. Lorenzo should prove he is worth a shot. He should show the best version of himself who deserves Dianne’s heart.

When Lorenzo left, Dianne is obviously hurt. She knows how much she doesn’t like this but she is also sure the more she ignores it, the more she’s falling for him. But she knows what she said was right. She never wanted this, not a single bit of this but dearest Dianne, this is love. We couldn’t always look at the happy endings, true love kiss and prince charming side of it but also the heartaches, disappointments and sacrifices. Dianne and Lorenzo need a break but not to totally end things. But it’s now or never. Dianne, the unrequited lover and Lorenzo, the heartbreaker have to meet in the middle so their love will endure their pain and doubts.

Even the movie One More Chance had a Second Chance so who we are not to ask for it? But give some time and space to process everything. It takes a lot of courage and confidence to bring back the trust and respect from the ones we’ve hurt. A lover who has been broken need to pick himself up before he could love again. Don’t rush things. You can’t just move on and open another chapter without closing the other.

Sometimes, it’s okay to get hurt in loving someone than never love at all.
